Stop Worrying and Start Living!

W- it is a Waste
O- it tends to affect Others
R-  it takes away your Rest
R- it Removes your happiness
Y- It doesn't do any good for You!

Let me walk you through  two situations:

Situation 1: An exam is coming up tomorrow. You sit on the bed unable to soak in the words you have to learn as you are busy worrying. You can't solve anything as your mind is clouded with negative thoughts. You haphazardly manage to cover your portion, and you don't even get enough sleep. The next morning the butterflies in your stomach are overwhelming. You see the tensed expression on your face in the mirror and start dreading the exam. The sinking feeling in your stomach increases as you enter the examination hall. You encounter a few tough questions, your self-confidence drains, and you start panicking. Hardly any of the questions make sense to you now. Towards the end of the exam you calm down a bit and then realize the many of the questions aren't that tough at all. But unfortunately time runs out..... and finally your report card shows a big fat 'F'.

Situation 2: You are in a hurry to go somewhere, but you can't seem to find your car keys. You start freaking out and begin to turn everything upside down in a frenzied manner. After 20 minutes you stop to think and then realize that you left the keys on the dining table. You hurry into the car as you are already late. Half way to your destination, you realize that you left an important file at home. You get into trouble and your whole day gets messed up.

In the above two situations it is very obvious what the problem is- Worry! If you didn't worry you would have done well in the exam, and you would have reached your destination on time with the important file. Worrying is as useless as trying to light a candle underwater. I'll tell you what will happen if you stop worrying- firstly, you will stop messing up, and secondly, you will always be happier! Worrying doesn't have any benefits at all!! So why worry?

“Worrying does not take away tomorrow’s troubles. It takes away today’s peace. - Randy Armstrong

So I wish all of you 'Hakuna Matata'! Chill out, relax, because life is worth living! :D :D
