Fear is not emotion. Fear is a demonic spirit. Surprised? Here’s the proof: 2 Timothy 1:7- "For God has not given us a SPIRIT of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind."
So if God hasn’t given us the spirit of fear, where does a person get this spirit?
Let’s go to the beginning to Genesis. Satan spoke words contradicting to the Word of God to Eve. She didn’t realize it was a lie, ate the fruit and gave it to Adam. Then they hid from God and told Him ‘I was afraid’.
When man obeyed a lie which was thought to be the truth, the spirit of fear got activated. The spirit of fear made man hide from God’s presence and brought death into their perfect bodies which were supposed to live forever. Sorrow, curse, pain, and everything negative came.
💬 In the same way, when we believe messages that contradict God's Word the spirit of fear gets activated in us. 💬
